Mr. Praveen Singh

Mr. Praveen Singh has been our non-executive Director since 1994. He is also the Chairman of our Audit Committee and a member of our Shareholders/Investors Grievance Committee. Mr. Praveen Singh possesses vast experience in the shipping industry for last several years. He was the Joint Secretary to the Indian Government in the Cabinet Secretariat, New Delhi from 1979 to 1984, co-ordinating and monitoring the performance of the infrastructure sector. During 1985, he was working as Divisional Railway Manager, Western Railway, Baroda. Thereafter, he worked as the Directorate General of Shipping from 1986 to 1991. He retired from government service in 1991 and was advisor to the then Shipping Credit and Investment Corporation of India Limited from 1992 to 1994. Since 1994, Mr. Praveen Singh has been a director of Pandi Correspondents Pvt. Ltd., a company that represents various P&I Clubs in India for various matters relating to insurance of vessels. Mr. Praveen Singh obtained his Master of Arts (History) from the University of Delhi in 1956.
