The company, in order to avail of various international finance and tax benefits available to Singapore based shipping companies, established a wholly owned subsidiary by the name of VSC International Pte Ltd in Singapore, in the year 1995.  Over the last ten years, it owned 2 AHTS vessels, 3 product tankers and one LPG carrier, which have since been sold. The subsidiary presently owns four LPG Carriers. Accordingly, the principal activities of the subsidiary consists of owning and chartering of vessels. The subsidiary’s present paid up share capital comprises of 4,972,656 ordinary shares, which are held entirely by the company. The subsidiary presently has 6 directors, as follows:
